DC Mayor Declares State of Emergency Over Migrants Bussed to Her Sanctuary City

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser on Thursday declared a public emergency regarding thousands of migrants being bused to the city from Texas and Arizona. Bowser said the city will establish an Office of Migrant Services to help those arriving in the city.

This comes after the Pentagon twice rejected a request from D.C. seeking the National Guard’s assistance in what Bowser has called a “growing humanitarian crisis.”

This is just too damn funny. King Koopa.... err.... Mayor Bowser declared that DC was a sanctuary city, and illegal immigrants were welcome.

So, TX & AZ send them a couple of busloads and it's a MAJOR EMERGENCY!!!

At least the mayor of Chicago has the decency to say (I may be slightly paraphrasing here) "Dude! What kind of monsters would send someone here? WFT is the matter with you people?"

this was the greatest political move in my memory. Texas and other direct border states were getting invaded, Biden set it up this way and has no interest in fixing it, the MSM never mentions is, other than to claim border agents were whipping Hatians, (a lie) and if not for this brilliant move, it would continue to go unnoticed.

But....

Now Mayor smoke-em-up and Party sent a delegation to investigate, and New Yorkers (on the delegation) will see the horror first hand, they may even relay what they learn to Mayor Adams.

Betelgeuse is foaming at the mouth over a few bus loads, and this dolt in DC is playing the song she has been snookered into singing.

Didn't Biden appoint someone to oversee conditions at the border? Has his appointee ever given a report?

Maybe AOC should join the Mayor and give her crying emotional support.

The louder Bowser (I'd legally change my name to something more human if it were me) gets, the funnier it gets. I'm not sure my 25# bag of popcorn is going to be enough to see this through.

It's what happens because they didn't waste a thought how immigrants would get to them, because it's all so far away. Just like Berlin didn't care and then got wide-eyed in surprise.

Now that AOC can cry some crocodile tears behind the WH fences. Just that this time for a different reason and with real people behind the fences. Instead of some bored Mexican border patrols it's going to be people about to learn what worth her kind's word is.

I allow myself to be greatly amused by this, besides the hardship people are going through, this is just too funny.
