www.abovetopsecret.com...

It was an out there thread for sure... I think that's the right one.

I'm thinking about the dream harvesting stuff he went on about, the running from the tribe and general human psychology... Yeah I've always noticed the need for leaders by others. I grew up a bit shy too so it's perplexing when I found myself in that role but it's coming from that trust place which is of course the driving factor of the bubble/tribe.

Circular... It'll always come back to awareness and understanding, there's a disconnect and we're pack animals in general... It's only right we look to the sentry, the witchdoctor or the chief when we're lost. If we can't find them we'll make one? Or an oracle?

We probably will... I did quote some Clash lyrics at Peeple earlier lol. We can wear any clothes I'm sure. Probably not at the expense of ourselves though because that's unhealthy. People break down less when they're reliant on themselves. Unfortunate but true.

I love a bit solitude personally but I didn't learn it alone did I? Thanks tribe... Funny that.

Imagine an Oracle, a place you go to because you need advice how to decide and what to do.
You bring presents, a basket of fruit, a goat, a chicken, jewellery, whatever.
The temple officials ask for your request.
'I want the truth!' you say. 'I need to know what reality is really made of. I need to know if the gods are real and what they're made of. I need to know how my mind works and what is made of.'

What could the Oracle answer? To someone without any technology. Without all those concepts we found, improved and/or discarded along the way.
Are we now at a point where we can handle the answer?

There's this line of thinking that we're on purpose being kept from figuring out those answers.
Would it matter? Would it improve things if we knew?
Create your own reality… Magic is what they call it

Thanks.

I can relate, but I'm curious why you say that it's unfortunate but true when they're reliant on themselves.

It's my opinion that everyone should be self-reliant. That people have to be able to take care of themselves before they can properly help others. A solid foundation if you will.

Before I had learned that lesson I had stretched myself so thin and had become so physically exhausted and emotionally strained that I could feel myself crumbling. But even when I withdrew to heal the very same people I had been trying to help began to call me selfish.

But after working on myself and getting to where I didn't need to rely on anyone I was then able to help others and know what my limits were.

So, now instesd of just giving people what they ask for I try and show them how they can help themselves.

And if they don't want to help themselves then they aren't ready, and they, in fact, are the ones being selfish and unreasonable.

The lonely twin? The left hand.

The wolf can do fine alone but it's always going to long for the pack. I love old stories and when I go to that headspace Fenrir is still starving and I still agree that we as a tribe will always have to bound that before it consumes us all.

Vengeance is insatiable and there's no hunger like the wolf. I understand the story and it's fundamentally sad.

Oscar Wilde's The Happy Prince story was always a lovely one too, I'm sorry society/people had you burning out like that. At the same time though it's fairly obvious you've learnt valuable lessons in the process... Your compass still points north despite all that, I personally genuinely appreciate that and I understand the effort involved.

Here's to you and helping people little swallow. Cheesy I know, but it's supposed to be fun!
