a reply to: rickymouse -- As of Tuesday, September 13, 2022, there are *more* COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles county workplaces; it looks like these numbers are YTD as in cumulative for this year. For example at the Apple store in The Grove shopping center (Fairfax district, 15-20 miles west of downtown Los Angeles), they have now seen a total of 70 cases of COVID-19, which is about double what it was on August 11, 2022. That particular location is one of the smaller Apple stores. I used MS Word to capture the data column format, but those columns don't transfer completely to an ATS reply page.

I think eighty five percent of people in the U.P of Michigan have already had covid. Half of those have had the omicron...seems like everyone I know has had a positive test in the last three or so months. Vaccine or not, prior infection or not...but none of them got even close to needing to go to the doctor or hospital. Some had tests done at the regular covid center, but most just had a very mild version so never reported it.

People who have a compromised immune system are still at risk, but they are also at risk of dying from pneumonia or any other disease too.

A one-hour video Grand Rounds medical discussion was posted online today between Dr. Robert Wachter (UC - San Francisco) and Dr. Michael Osterholm, the lead epidemiologist and medical doctor at CIDRAP, the University of Minnesota Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy. In that discussion, they agreed that coronavirus vaccines do not confer long-lasting immunity. They also agreed that since most prescription medications come directly or indirectly from China (even those made in India), the prevalence of widespread lockdowns in China recently poses a problem for global supplies of those prescription medications.
