Birth rates have fallen sharply in many countries with high vaccination coverage. Austrian gynecologist Christian Fiala makes an urgent appeal on behalf of his party MFG to stop vaccinating and start an investigation.
In addition to being a gynecologist, Christian Fiala is also vice-chairman of the Austrian political party Menschen Freiheit Grundrechte Österreich (MFG). He made his appeal yesterday in this press release, which can also be read on the MFG website.
Although the birth rate has fallen sharply in more countries, Fiala focuses on the figures from Germany and Switzerland. He compares the figures for the first five months of 2022 with the average for the first five months of the years 2019 - 2021. The decrease was 9 percent in Germany and 13 percent in Switzerland. “This is also very surprising because the number of births has risen sharply in both countries over the last ten years and the current decline is breaking this trend. The Austrian statistical office has not yet presented figures for Austria and that is strange. After all, birth rates are not complex assessments,” says Fiala.
Strong correlation “A detailed analysis of Switzerland shows that the massive decline in the birth rate occurred in all Swiss cantons at the same time and was between 2.5 and 29.1 percent (excluding one canton),” the press release said. “This decrease correlates extremely significantly with the time of the first corona vaccination in the age group 20 to 49 years nine months earlier (low p-value of 0.0005704).” See figure below.
In addition to the obvious correlation between the start of the vaccination campaign and the moment when the birth rate starts to fall, Fiala points to another striking correlation. In regions with a high vaccination coverage, the birth rate fell more than in regions with a low vaccination coverage. For example, Zurich has a vaccination rate of 63.9 percent and the birth rate there fell by 18 percent. While Eastern Switzerland has a vaccination rate of 49.7 percent and there the decrease was 8.6 percent.
Effects on Fertility
“Fertility has a special place in people's lives. Therefore, and also because of the huge scandals in the past (for example with the drug Contergan), the possible effects on human fertility for each drug must be checked individually before it is approved. However, this has not happened with the corona vaccination. This is also the reason why all available vaccines have only received conditional approval,” explains Fiala. He therefore finds it irresponsible and outrageous that the first studies on the effects on fertility in women and men have only started after the conditional approval was granted, and that the final results are not expected until the end of this year or in 2024.
