A great thread and one I have not read about before. Far far more exciting than the usual political / Trump bollox threads.

I have actually seen this one!! I never knew how to describe it.
I always said it looked like a keg or a duct vent from a restaurant.

Remember it like it was yesterday but it was probably 2008ish.
I was mowing a customer's lawn on Lake Easy street on a zero turn mower.
As I was cutting the back of house, around six acres, it just appeared,
maybe five hundred feet from the ground and about six hundred feet away,
it was close! It just hovered, wobbling a bit for five minutes or so.
I wanted to get a closer look but where it was hovering wasn't accessible to me.
It was a cloudless, beautiful Floriduh day. I didn't hear any sound.
This was before cell phones with cameras. I turned at the end of a row and it was gone.
Just disappeared. It's one of the few times my whole crew wasn't with me.
There wasn't anyone I could show it to!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

2nd November 2000 (11:20 pm) - Roy W. went outside to put the garbage in the bin. He suddenly heard a very loud "locomotive" type sound overhead and felt compelled to look up. To his astonishment he perceived a thimble-shaped object with a flat bottom. This craft appeared to have a bright top to it as well as orange, red, and yellow lights around its perimeter. The underneath of the craft had a huge bright white light with a bluey-green neon type light in the centre. This light felt warm to Roy, despite the cold night air. During this period the neighbour’s dogs were howling. He could also feel the vibration within his body from this "whirry", jet-like noise. The object proceeded to demonstrate its aerobatic abilities as it moved up and down, back and forth, all within a relatively small area. All this was accomplished at high speed. Visually the craft was the size of a dinner plate and at the approximate height of incoming aircraft (2000’)?

No jar, but the same sound was present.

He later saw an "airplane" which I've discussed here on ATS several times before:

18th November 2000 (4:40 pm) - Roy was outside and at the back of the house when he suddenly heard a roar, "like a rumbling locomotive". He looked up and was amazed to see a HUGE aircraft just "floating" along. Its wingspan was 300 feet (?) and its length one city block! It had a V-shaped tail, the front of the aircraft had two rows of windows, the rear had three sets. The front set were round, those at the rear oblong. The aircraft had no visible markings, was black, gray, silver in colour, with a red "Z" on the tail section. The lights from the window were quartz-like, "brilliantly bright". This aircraft (?) had eight engines, four on either side. The extreme right engine had what seemed like smoke pouring out of it. The engines’ appeared to be jet type. It was flying extremely low, "I could have touched it" and travelling from northeast to southwest.

I take anything from the "secrets of the men in black" book with not just a grain but an entire shaker of salt. That said, there are some truths "accidentally sprinkled" in even the most fabricated tales. There could be something to it. Or not. That said, even the black and white photo is impressive. Impressive not because it is of a UFO, but because it depicts a very different type of UFO.

If it had a red Z on it, it may have a vision of a futuristic Russian plane. They started using "Z" as a symbol on the tanks and such when invading Ukraine. I guess this conflict will last for decades.

Could be. I thought about that too, I knew of this case for years but when the Russia thing happened with the Z, I thought of that jet. I also thought, different symbols mean different things to different people in different times (i.e. at one point the Swastika was a symbol of good luck and just a delightful little pinwheel). The Z could be anything when you think about it. In some other society somewhere, it might be an airline logo for all we know.

Or Zorro is back.

Very similar to the Kecksburg 'acorn' UFO, which was of course reminiscent of the Bell /die Glocke of ww2.

Great thread and a new case to me. As someone mentioned a nice change from political crap.

It could be a laundry basket stuck up in the tree. How it got there might be as big a mystery as ufos.

What we do have, seriously, is what I call the anomalous of the anomalous.

Often we get these odd UFOs that might look like just about anything other than a traditional, untraditional ufo craft.

For instance, the Indrid Cold descending craft on Walter Derenberger at the inception of the famous Mothman flap:

That craft looked like, according to Derenberger, a “kerosene lamp chimney."

So apparently, aliens like us have all kinds of crafts.

And I may add parenthetically; they have all kinds of different beings; just note the many descriptions of the alleged aliens, from monsters and little greys-whites to human-like beings.

Bottom line. We're dealing with a very complex issue here.

Very likely a saucer with partial interdimensional phasing on. I don't know about a face but with these things, any visual is suspect of manipulation.

Men in black are real, they are Federation enforcement agents both Human and/or Other species guarding the timeline against hostile manipulations.

Very nice piece...reminds me of when ATS was almost 100% about E.T.'s and UFO sightings...when ATS really was about
