Come Sit a While Near a Watering hole in the Namib Desert

It's currently 6.40 in Namibia , the heat of the day is subsiding and as evening approaches passing animals are popping in for a little drinkie , birds , a Gazelle , a jackal and an Antelope have been to have a sip in the 20 or so minutes I've been watching and although nothing exciting has happened it is a relaxing watch.


Looks to me a couple of Thomson's gazelle are taking advantage of the amenities now.

Now we have an Owl sat in the water.

Now a group of Zebras have arrived.


And now a pair of Oryx.

If only TV was this good.

At 12.30 am in the Namibian Desert an Owl sits on a rock surrounded by water while some bloke in England watches it ... that's the joy of the internet right there.

The Oryx have been ruling the watering hole every time I've logged on today shame I missed the Ostriches , a group of warthogs have just turned up.

Right now is ostrich, zebra and oryx time. Lol
