Busted: FBI Halts Russian Agent's 7-Year Influence Campaign In Florida

Appears we have a "real" example of Russians influencing local elections (see videos at the news sites linked below). The Uhuru House doesn't deny it, the socialist and social justice organization says they will work with anyone that stands against colonialism. It also appears the FBI will be tagging more political organizations funded and working with Russian agents in Georgia and California.

Really makes you wonder how many foreign agents are imbedded or supporting all these activist political groups in our major cities doesn't it?

A Russian foreign agent has been indicted by a Federal grand jury in Tampa for running a "brazen influence campaign, turning U.S. political groups and U.S. citizens into instruments of the Russian government," according to the FBI.

Over the course of seven years, from 2014 to July 2022, the FBI says Aleksandr Ianov of Russia's Federal Security Service, or FSB, set up his base of operations in St. Petersburg, Florida with the Uhuru Movement, where he coordinated and executed a campaign to fund and influence U.S. politics and sow discord surrounding elections and government.

Among the allegations in the indictment, the FBI says Ionov:

Provided financial support for a Florida-based political group, on behalf of the FSB and, in turn, financially supported a candidate for St. Petersburg mayor;

Coordinated and funded direct action by U.S. political groups to further Russian interests and coordinated coverage of these groups' activities in Russian media outlets;

Petitioned the United Nations, accusing the U.S. of genocide against African people;

Arranged meetings with Russian FSB operatives and traveled to and from the country from Tampa for the meetings;

Reported his progress back to specific FSB and Russian officials over the course of his seven-year campaign.

Locally, Ford believes Russian involvement with the Uhuru group could have impacted politics -- including potentially a mayoral election in St Pete. Jesse Nevel, the Uhuru Movement candidate for mayor in 2017, made headlines during the mayoral race involving Rick Kriseman and Rick Baker.

Ford theorizes if Russia was pushing money toward the Uhuru organization, funds could have been used to help sway votes away from a specific candidate.

This begs the question: Why are they not going after Soros, Zuckerberg, MSM and all the rest? Do the Russian agents not spend enough money swaying elections to get a pass?

They are not going after Soros or Zuckerberg for the exact same reason they are not going after the Koch Brothers.

All of those individuals are US citizens and have a constitutional right to spend their money to try to influence the outcome of US elections as determined by the Supreme Court in the Citizens United case of 2010. Foreign nationals like Russians, for instance, do not have a right to influence US elections.

That's funny when you consider all the elections if foreign countries the US has interfered with.

A 2020 election integrity probe in Wisconsin reported findings Tuesday that a nonprofit group funded by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg committed election bribery when it targeted $8.8 million in get-out-the-vote funds to five heavily Democratic jurisdictions.

The conclusion is part of a 136-page interim report issued by the Wisconsin Office of the Special Counsel, which was tasked with examining 2020 state election integrity issues.

Testifying before the Wisconsin legislature Tuesday about the report, OSC lead investigator Michael Gableman told lawmakers they should “take a very hard look” at decertifying the results that showed President Biden the winner in Wisconsin, although Republicans in Madison have repeatedly rejected revisiting the results.

Scott Koch, a DOD employee, seemed to have the help of the federal government, national guard, and federal secrecy programs, with being involved with ballots being flown into Phoenix, Arizona from South Korea, right after the 2020 general election, as admitted by Scott himself in a conversation recorded by Staci Burke, and later documented in a Supreme Court case filing, and later documented here:
