Are drag queens really a problem in most people's lives?
I can't even imagine that anyone here has been around a drag queen anytime recently.
To take something so almost insignificant and elevate it to this status seems ludicrous. Just like CRT.
Maybe I need to be more "sensitive" to these types of topics, like the rest of you.
Actually, I have encountered 3 drag queens who spoke to me in "regular" stores over the past few years. They were clearly drag queens, openly. 1 was shopping for women's clothing. 1 was shopping for wigs. 1 asked me how long something in the grocery store would last. I was nice to all three, who spoke to me and asked my opinion, although as a fat grandma type I don't know why. Well, I do know the last one was with a friend and with the smirk on their faces I could tell they were trying to see if they could get a rise out of me. I failed to give them what they wanted and was nice and answered their question and kept shopping as if they were also a couple of old ladies who asked my opinion. They seemed quite disappointed.
The first had on a "bra" type top over a hairy flat chest with high heels and spandex pants and walked with a prance all over the store. This was in a store with children.
The second had a masculine hair cut and was trying on wigs and looking at sparkly accessories for himself. This was in a women's specialty store so fortunately no children, but he was loud and overtly and overly flamboyant and purposely drawing attention to himself. Luckily all the women in the store just ignored him, as he became louder and louder. He did ask my opinion on a wig, I said very politely and nicely that I didn't care for it and then went about my own business.
So if you think this is something out of the ordinary, you are sadly mistaken these days.
