The glaring indication that this is a red herring is all the 'posturing' publicity and threats.

We don't hear much about spies anymore (unless they're Russian and the occasional harmless Chinese) but I think it's safe to assume they're still around.

IF taking out Pelosi was in any way an objective they'd let the 82 yo #*%$# visit Taiwan, and upon arrival she'd die of 'age related' issues.

It may be time to stop looking at the curtain and peek at what's behind it.

Attacking civilian infrastructure would be a big fat war crime. Any US president who authorized that strike wouldn't ever be able to set a foot outside of the US without being dragged off to the Hague.

The guy who said that is actually just a journalist, not a government official. It's not official Chinese policy.

Its not a warcrime for that dam. WHy? because its used by the military. Its a military target. Collate damage is all it will cause,but will put a huge hole in their military command for a while. And they dont need to use nukes. bunker buster missiles can do it.

My opinion is people often get all mixed up in how the world works because they're always being led down paths that lead nowhere.

There hasn't been any conflict with China and there won't be. The West won't take Russia on either in any direct sense , or vise versa .

Whatever Pelosi or even Xi does , wherever they fly , they're temporary puppets, just talking heads , just simple focal objects producing distraction .

Because of that , and them , nobody , is going to even know or really care , , let alone remember , the plane or the occupants or escorts that fly to Basel Switzerland , again from China this month .

Who'll be on it ? That'll the Govenor of the Bank of China . Back in Basel for his monthly meet , with All the other Govenors of the worlds important Central Banks . It's called the All Govenors Meeting at the Bank for International Settlements.

I'd bet you that nothing happens to Pelosi on the way to Taiwan , unless the bank said it was OK. Which they won't, the reason being , none of them want war or anything they can't control happening , but what they DO want which is what they outright state they want pubically which is global financial stability .
And behind that , from the general manager of the world's finances seat , are quite a lot of very rich people who realise that , number 1 in life is if you're rich , stay rich .
