Billy No Mates Lavrov seems to have the support of Iran, Syria, Bolivia and now the Congo.

He's hoping to gain support from Legoland.

You will close your eyes like usual I imagine, and the rest of the world will see the evidence.

Tell me what evidence do you have about Odessa, given that the link given by gortex does not work?

even Russian news reported it so why are you reacting like you have proof it didn't happen? bet you didn't even try to verify the facts.

@Grimpachi

It seems they struck that bridge again in the exact spots as before when you laughed at it and now with HIMARS in the same spots have made the bridge unusable it seems, along with a train bridge. Seems the Russians are building pontoon bridges now.

First ship carrying agricultural products leaves Odessa port

01.08.2022 (13:05)

rutube.ru...

On August 1, at around 9.20 a.m. Moscow time, the ship Razoni, flying the flag of Sierra Leone, left Odessa port as part of the Safe Transportation of Grain and Food from Ukrainian Ports Initiative.

Razoni is carrying a cargo of maize, which is scheduled to arrive in the waters of Istanbul port on August 2, 2022.

The sea corridor through which Razoni is travelling is in the north-western part of the Black Sea. The control of the humanitarian operation for the departure of the first ship carrying agricultural products was planned with the active participation of Russian officers who are part of the Joint Coordination Centre in Istanbul.

On July 22, 2022 in Istanbul, Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu took part in the signing of two interrelated documents aimed at solving the problems of food and fertilizer supplies to the world markets. The documents represent a single package.

The 1st document signed - the Memorandum - envisages the UN undertaking to lift various restrictions on exports of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to the world markets.

The 2nd document outlines an algorithm for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products from Ukrainian-controlled Black Sea ports. This document is based on an algorithm proposed by the Russian Federation that envisages a maritime humanitarian corridor through which commercial vessels can safely sail to and from Ukrainian-controlled Black Sea ports.

@Xtrozero

That is old news. Old to me at least. It happened like a day or two after it was repaired last time. They are not building a pontoon bridge either. The river is too big for that. They just went back to using ferries which is what they used 10 years ago and it is reported that repairs started on the bridge days ago. I think they already have light vehicles using it.

Another couple million worth of HIMARS rockets attempting to slow down Russia.

If they ever manage to hit the support columns then the bridge will be done but until then it is going to be a money sink for UA and something to celebrate for the MIC. They are making a fortune off of restocking US supplies.

Side note - I read that Chinese veterans are now signing up with the LPR and DPR. There were some pics and I am pretty sure that can only happen with China's approval.
Maybe Pelosi and her trip pushed them over the edge.

Two requirements were prior service in China and being able to speak Russian. I also read that Russian is taught in school. I don't know if it is an elective or required.

Chinese mercenaries, eh?

Thought you disapproved of mercs?

Can you quote where I said I approved of them or explain why you think me posting about what can be interpreted as closer cooperation between China and Russia is me approving of mercs?

Another side note- China and Russia are now doing joint military exercises on Russian soil.

Are you going to say that is my approval of their alliance?

Where did you disapprove?

You need to post a source for your claim about joint exercises before I could comment.

I don't believe I made any comment stating I approved or disapproved.

I stated that I read about the Chinese signing up as mercenaries with the DPR.

Can you explain your thought process step by step on how you came to the conclusion that I was giving approval?

Otherwise, I will just assume you are trying to build a strawman.

A straw man fallacy occurs when someone takes another person’s argument or point, distorts it or exaggerates it in some kind of extreme way, and then attacks the extreme distortion as if that is really the claim the first person is making.

By western logic, Ukrainians bombed themselves to frame Russians just like Russians bombed themselves to frame Ukrainians.

A better solution to pontoon is a tunnel under Dnipro river. Sure, HIMARS can hit a bridge. But can it hit a tunnel? Meh don't think so.

Lol how deep is the tunnel?

How they going to dig it, and a small hole fills it with water.

Since it's a river tunnel it should be about 20 meters deep. It's not like it's a sea tunnel like English Channel Tunnel or Seikan Tunnel.

Well, it could hit the entrance/exit?

I don't think you've thought it through.

Time and equipment to do it too. I would not attack the either the entrance or exit, just right in the middle in the water and let it get flooded, end of tunnel.
