Russia moves to shut Jewish Agency in Ukraine rift

Russia's justice ministry wants to shut down the agency that organizes Jewish immigration to Israel , seemingly to stem the numbers leaving to settle in Israel.

Russia's justice ministry has gone to court in a bid to shut down the Russian branch of the Jewish Agency, which organises Jewish immigration to Israel.

The case at Moscow's Basmanny District Court concerns unspecified legal breaches. A hearing is set for 28 July.

Israeli media has reported a surge in the numbers of Russian Jews arriving to settle in Israel this year.

Understandably Israel's government are not best pleased and have called it "pathetic and insulting"

An Israeli minister condemned the court case, seeing it as punishment for Israel's stance on the Ukraine war.

Nachman Shai, Israel's diaspora affairs minister, said "Russian Jews will not be held hostage by the war in Ukraine" and "the attempt to punish the Jewish Agency for Israel's position on the war is pathetic and insulting".

The Russian Jews may realize that Putin's gambit has gone awry and fear the witch hunts that will take place once a given number of Russians come to the same conclusion.

The "breaches of the law" seem to be illegally collecting data on Russian citizens , presumably those looking to leave Russia , along with the thousands who have already left.

Russian authorities suspected the Jewish Agency of illegally collecting data on Russian citizens, according to The Jerusalem Post.

Israeli officials quoted by the Israeli daily newspaper Haaretz say the number of Russian Jews arriving in the first six months of this year reached 16,598. The figure for the whole of 2021 was 7,500.

As much as the Jews says they are good now a days, they aren't. They got fully infiltrated today unlike the past. The CIA can be religious too and do some evil # in your group to get your group framed just as much as the many Christian divided in the states to become cults themselves. If you want to stop it, it starts from within, not to storm East like they want you to do. Anyone can say they are Jewish as much as anyone can say they are Russian, American, etc.
