Yes, as far as I'm concerned, take the chance, buy seconds, because that intruder is aggravated and pitiless already.

If they have a gun but didn't intend to shoot you, just intimidate, your BB gun will give them a reason to shoot you.

If they have a knife, machete or just a stick it means you will be stabbed, hacked or bludgeoned a couple seconds later than planned.

I'm not seeing the upside to your plan.

I think you've got their "plan-A" mapped out pretty well.

However, I think it's absolute nonsense to argue that something that looks and sounds like a gun would be useless.

Yeah if you're fumbling with it, and shoot yourself in the face.

Like I said if they have a gun, it will give them a reason to shoot you even if that wasn't their plan.

How does buying a couple of seconds keep you from being killed?

Honestly, I think you are lying to yourself if you are convinced it sounds like an actual gun.

Check out this vid to hear the difference 1:12 for the airgun and 1:24 for the firearm

Look, is it a real gun?
Nope, I understand.
But is it useless, that is different to distinguish.

Well, my trainer picked up an orange thing from the floor, and above the pizza-box, shoot it off.

And I realized, there's actually an aim.

Bang, it was shot-off.

Now I'm in trouble, not supposed to be this good.

I'm not saying it can't be a good deterrent.

Anecdote time. My dad was driving around and a cab made a sudden stop in front of him. He honked and the cab driver opened his door and got out with a tire iron in his hand. My dad grabbed his gun and stuck his hand out the window with the gun clearly visible but pointing at the ground. The cab driver dashed back into his car and took off.

Had it been a real looking BB gun, it would have worked just as well as that real gun but that is as far as it is going to be useful.

If it gets past that point you are not gonna hurt anyone with that gun, especially if it is the one I found going off of the model number in your OP.

And in the army, being G3K3, as queers mostly.
Ooh, if a gorgeous man shoots, gonna put a pen through your target.
Sitting in the hole - bang, bang, bang.
He's gorgeous, that's three holes.
Wink, wink.

It looks like paintball weapons would be a better alternative, cops are using them for crowd control. I have often thought if they were loaded with various types of ammo theoretically a big CO2 cylinder makes a big difference.

Yeah sure the BB can work as intimidation device yet when you need to take out an intruder and I mean take them out well for only £279 this beats a BB gun every time............................. The coconut test

Get a bead blaster with fittings down to 3/4" and fire empty CO2 carts out of it. It'll go in one side out the other, so don't shoot the intruder in front of ur china cabinet.

Let me put it this way................. When I lived through the 90's as a Raver with hoodies flares whistles and beautiful music like U Sure Do
I felt the world was on my side and love and friendship was universal. Post 9/11 the world changed and the divide was real then we experienced THE NEW WORLD and we found we had to fend for ourselves in the reality of crime going crazy in the UK and with the Cops being sh*t and the the law on the side of the crim's then we decided to take our protection into our own hands when you live in the country zones x x x

If the temp is that low it affects the power of the CO2, some keep the canisters under their arm it boosts them up considerably. CO2 just boils off into a gas, the higher the ambient temperature the faster the boil.

You make it sound like I am advocating for the BB gun. I'm not.

Personally, if I was in South Africa and was worried about protecting my family at home I would just go out and get the permit for a firearm and an actual firearm.

If for some reason that was not possible I would probably opt for anything else besides the BB gun.

Come at me bro!
