Anyone know why Jdownloader 2 always says 'File already exists on harddrive'?

I can't register on their forums it seems to be always down. Their spam captcha doesn't go thru so I assume their forum is constantly down as in no longer maintained as the latest questions I get on Google date no later then 2020 so I'm asking here not sure where the best section is though.

Anyways I'm stuck with this problem where anytime I download multiple files from Archive.org I get this 'File already exist on Hard Drive' which for 1,000 + files IE: A rom or ISO set you keep getting this message. While the download still continues it's pretty annoying. Any fix since as I already said I can't register to their forums.

A lot of tech forums seem to have this issue too where they don't seem to care for their feedback anymore.

The only "simple" solution is built into the program. Have you seen or tried this?

From Superuser.com

There is an option to "auto rename" if the file already exists. This will prevent the pop up to decide for each file.

Open settings by pressing CTRL+P

In "General", under "Download Management", there is the option of changing this setting at the very bottom.

If the problem also applies to duplicate folders then I don't have a workable solution.

BTW: For computer related problems you should post in the Computer Help Forum:

I find in the advance settings to tick it off but it didn't fix that and it was a pain to find too. It's somewhere in the General settings of things to tick on/off in the advance settings area:
I was downloading MAME CHD's on a new folder that doesn't have duplicates on that drive and had it download to the MAME Roms folder it generates. The CHD's have to be named the same as the ROM file. IE: SFRUSRK the CHD folder named the same for San Francisco Rush The Rock otherwise MAME will spit out 'CHD not found' error.

I first tried Documents on my C Drive then tried my external drive. Files got thru anyways but both times I had that message. I just left the message alone.

The files downloaded anyways so that's good but it's annoying the message is still there and no my computer works fine. I do lots of things on it my favorite running PCEM.
