This was predicted so I guess we should not be surprised.

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “‘“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.” For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’

Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of falsehood, who draw sin as with cart ropes

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.

Woke Churches Label Pro-Life Movement a ‘Demonic Agenda’ and Claim ‘God Is Pro-Baby Murder’

www.breitbart.com...

Woke culture has infiltrated several Christian churches across the country, some of which have made it abundantly clear they love and cherish a woman’s ability to terminate her pregnancy.

Breitbart News’s recent compilation shows several church leaders across various sects — Methodist, Episcopalian, the United Church of Christ, etc. — seemingly distorting scripture and advocating for abortion in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe.

It is always distressing to me to hear some of the things that many so-called Christians say. They think they know but they didn't hear, they didn't see, they claim understanding but have none and they act out of malice with a sense of being holier than thou. They look down upon the least of these and believe that they are above them. Judge not lest yea be judged and those without sin may cast the first stone.

A church leader is most often to blame for a congregation of misguided Christians. These types can't even give a funeral service without implicating the sins of the deceased and implying they haven't made their peace with the lord. I attend church services very infrequently because most never even occur on the sabbath day as commanded by the Bible they claim to believe in. Most of these type of churches won't even teach about damnation and the worse are these prosperity gospel/theology sects that teach that God shows his love through material wealth, therefore the wealthiest people are the most faithful to the Lord.

I think that they want pro-lifers (us, the enemy) to be demonic , so then God , the 'good guy' gets to be a baby-murderer , my brain hurts with these 'lefties'

Same, I have no respect for prosperity gospel and blatantly false teachings.

So this is what it was like in the days of Noah.

Not exactly a history lesson that I was looking forward to but it’s incredibly enlightening.

Matthew 24:37-39

“37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.“

Genesis 6:5

“5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

Jude 1 7-8

“7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

“8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.“

These people have no idea what is coming.

Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me. But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you.

“All this I have told you so that you will not fall away. 2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. 4 I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them.

I guess if it fits his agenda he wont bother to kill all first-born.... But i mean that was an exception and had a very good reason... Moral flexibility is really helpful...

Don't forsake fellowship is as often some people do, words of paul. This words speak to me. It is helpful. If not church, or even if church, I personally recommend small bible study groups in peoples houses etc.

Also, the sabbath is part of moses law and for jews, not gentiles. Jesus set us free from the law. Our covenant is entirely of grace now, not even a single bit of the law.

Yes, I realize that about the sabbath day and other Mosaic laws, but these misguided Christians claim to follow the Bible, both Old and New Testament. Jesus wasn't too big on keeping the sabbath, but he did refer back to the OT many times, so we can't just throw the Old Testament out because it's just for the Jews, not to mention the fact that Jesus was a Jew and no Christians existed until after he had risen.

As for the apostles, they never seemed to understand the Lord's teachings so he had to resort to parables to get the idea across. I'd rather trust the words of the teacher than the words and acts of the apostles. They may have walked with Christ, but even Judas did that, so I don't give them too much credit for their insight, just what was taught directly by Christ himself.

Do you believe some books are more inspired and valid than others? Also, notice how Jesus instructed the apostles to go to the Jews only before Stephen died, after, in the books of acts, the gospel transitioned towards the gentiles, through paul, who is called the apostle of the gentles. The kingdom of heaven was preached to the Jews, the literal 1000 year kingdom some believe could have came if the Jews accepted WHO Christ was, but after they rejected him the third time with the stoning of Steven, this period was pushed back until the full number of christians could be saved, at that point, which is now, God's Kindgom is on earth, until the rapture, tribulation, and again God will go back to dealing with the Jews, and then the Kingdom of Heaven will come.

Paul says to rightly divide the word of truth. One such division is the old and new testament. Are the gospels part of the new or old testament. Hint, its a trick question.

You see the chaos, death, destruction being set up in the world caused by inept leadership, and you see how easy it will be for anyone and everyone to fall in line with any person who comes along with what seem like real solutions. If you're wise, you'll remember exactly who that person really will be and won't fall for it.

When the Christian Churches become an enemy of God what will he do?

Well what did he do to his own people in ancient Israel when they went off the rails, he destroyed most of them, using political/military entities, and he did it twice, once with the Babylonian Empire and then with the Roman Empire.

What if I were to tell you that is going to happen again?

Would God be justified?

Of coarse some sincere Christians will be saved like Daniel and his companions, and also the first century Christian that fled out of Judea when the Romans came the first time in 66 CE.

For all the rest Jesus will say....

Matthew 7: 21-23

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ 23And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME [you are banished from My presence], YOU WHO ACT WICKEDLY [disregarding My commands].’

And just before that he warned us of fake Christians, and how to tell if they are real or fake

Verses 15-19

Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? 17Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Therefore, by their fruit you will recognize them [as false prophets].

The Churches that promote abortions......that is very bad fruit to Jesus, and their time will come.

It's Ironic that those who are pro-abortion, can thank the "Right to Life" mindset for being alive in the first place.

When the Christian Churches become an enemy of God what will he do?

we've, been here before its part of the history of the anglosphere.. the reformation lifted the cap off Christianity and pressures created between the puritans and roman Catholics crated 3 main groups, the levellers which ended up founding the USA, the Diggers and a 3rd less know group called the Ranters..

in the 60s the diggers where labelled proto socialists by 70s socialists the Ranters where relabelled libertarian communists as the most extreme of Christian sects..

while still a Christians sect the Ranters hated the church and where happy bible burners.. all sin was was a sacrament to them.. the problem with such views is the extent that sin becomes a sacrament and thus mans most horrid nature becomes a sacrament to be embraced, which is why such views are not tolerated for long..

a sad foreshadow of things to come as the anglosphere has been here before.
