Eminem's new album cover for Curtain Call 2 is chock full of symbolism.

Came across my social feeds the other day and at first glance noticed a ton of symbolism. I don't even have to explain most of it. It so blatant and in your face. Few things I picked up on

2 E's backwards. 33
the player scores upside down
player 1. 558008 = BOOBSS
player 2. 771534 = He's ILL
player 3. 451734 = Hellish
player 4. 104558 = As*hole

Same devil horns image from his other album with the one eye
The plane from his kamikaze album leaving a city in which looks to have been bombed
other side showing a spirit
Pyramid with the light/sun/bomb being the all seeing eye
etc etc

Also a grave digger, Jason (the killer with the hockey mask, in 2 places - one behind the curtain and another smaller one in upper left, has the jason mask and 2 horns in the smaller one) - Jason's also got a bloody chainsaw coming through the curtains on the right

Looks like references to most of his old album covers to me.

At a glance I see MM2, Kamikaze, Shady XV, Music to be Murdered By, and Eminem Show or Encore.

oh for sure he definitely is but there is much more to that. It is a greatest hits album after all so it makes sense he references his old album covers but that doesn't take away from the blatant symbolism along side that.

The real shock should be how bad that Photoshopped dye job looks. Em looks like a smoothed over Nic Cage in Willie's Wonderland.

All that imagery isn't necessary to promote his talent...hell, he could do a "white album" and his fans would slurp it up and ask for seconds!

Is it a nod to secret societies and satanism? Or is it the "Madonna/Gaga Technique©" of doing whatever you can get away with for shock value? By evidence of this OP, one of those options obviously worked.

What's great is that you can protest or condone this "artist" with your pocketbook depending on your disposition. Just keep in mind it's the speech and expression you DON'T personally condone that needs protection the most.

Gotta love the 1st Amendment, but you're a fool to discount the 2nd.
