British Grand Prix : Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu Survives Massive Accident

The race started nearly an hour ago but due to a 5 car accident and Zhou Guanyu sliding upside down toward and then over the wall racing is just about to restart , thankfully Guanyu is shaken but not stirred.


It's a testament to the safety of F1 cars that there wasn't fatality today.

Wow that is fierce-Looks like most of those sparks are pouring out of the roll cage just an inch or two away from the drivers head.
That must have been a crazy exprience I bet hes in shock.

The engineers did a top job for him to survive that.

Brutal accident.

These guys have balls of steel. The level of talent required to even make an F1 car operate properly is exceedingly high - never mind what it takes to drive them well and without fear at speed.

Kudos to the engineers, and I’m glad he was safe. F1 truly is the tip of the spear for automotive technology.

The Halo saved two driver's lives today.



I see these crashes and think "what took them so long?".

On a positive note, the rest of the Silverstone GP was epic.

Possibly the best race I've ever seen.
