What products did you ever own from Microsoft CD Sampler(s? Any you still have?

Back when MS made actual software to work with their OS's. Yes there was a time they actually cared greatly about their PC products not just exploiting you. It was always fun to mess around with and most of these WERE in stores. Egg Head was an actual store you could walk into and buy a PC/repairs and I think you could build one but don't quote me on it as we mostly did Fry's for ours

but Egg Head and Fry's were the go to place for software. EggHead was gone by 1999 and went online only till that also ended. Fry's started getting weird in the 2015-2016 where they did a bunch of 'As Seen on TV' crap at least in ours they kept shoving it in your face when you walk in and less of an emphasis on technology and their PC section got more and more stagnant. They claimed shipping problems but I think it was internal issues. I won't say more on here as I don't want to get bumped for 'wrong think'.
