I believe it is possible that the democrats may use the rising costs of goods and services to target industries that they have been eyeing for a while and nationalize them. In particular the gas and oil industries. But they could also do that with the food.

This could all be a game to send us to a socialist state.

Sure, it’s a good possibility.
I wouldn’t put anything past the Dem con artists, they definitely have some kind of sleight of hand con game up their sleeves.
They are hell bent on destroying this country.

Why would they cut their own throat by nationalizing industries that pay them lots of money for um... favors,?

The portion of that Act that permitted the taking of private property is no longer in effect and would need to be reinstated by Congress which would have little chance of passing.

While that's good news, it's only a matter of time until they try again.

I'm pretty sure it's been over 100 years since a full nationalization of an industry in the United States when Wilson took over the railroads. I don't see something like this happening any time in the near future.

I've noticed that people are worrying about things that will never happen with increasing regularity on this site.

Exactly. It's very telling when the "Pandemic" is still being pushed but nationalizing the pharmaceutical industry hasn't happened yet.

Yea. It's always been that way, but more people used to challenge posters who made a thread with zero evidence.

In a thread just yesterday someone was seething that we were questioning a poster who made a thread with absolutely zero evidence.

Look, I get it. This site caters to conspiracies. But be that as it may, there are plenty of topics you can at least make the case for, even if a stretch, by showing your work (just like math back in the day).

Now, as long as the conclusion checks out with most, "just a hunch" flies.

You mean things like having a man with advancing dementia inaugurated as president of the United States? Nah, couldn't happen.

No, actually, since that kind of happened already. I'm pointing out something that Congress would need to authorize and being that there is no supermajority, and no pathway for one in the foreseeable future, won't occur.

I don't think the privatization of the railroads was the goal there AM but either way, it's very sneaky.

Of course it was, that part was made very clear. The unions were trying to strike for higher wages and there was also a pricing war going on between competitors, Wilson took them over to end all of that.

Ummm...I know...right...?

I've always preferred those threads where there sure is a yuge amount of cut and pasty...and zero critical thinking as well...

I mean...why read something with a touch more intellectualization...than just copying and posting what someone else conceived...

Actually...I think using a predominance of someone else's work...is a sign of intellectual laziness...I much prefer what little originality might be had rather than reading the predominance of...citation required copy...cut...and pasty...

Perhaps should change that ..."Deny Ignorance"...to...No Critical thinking required...

Well, in this case the source is "I have a feeling".

Not, take a look at the two bills that passed in the last few months and this one that's on the floor setting a stage for a slingshot...

It's nothing.

Again, I said show your work. That doesn't mean you have to cut and past cold hard facts, but at least make a case.
