I will never grow tired of hearing that song.

Great video - love it. Have you them perform Freebird on the UK's Old Grey Whistle Test ? Its a superb video and I think its the first time they played it with the piano intro although I could be wrong.

Perhaps the most iconic rock song in the south, you still go to concerts and hear people yell Freeeeebird with their lit Bic lighter held up.

And to think, they were named after their P.T. teacher: "Leonard Skinner".
Now who said P.T. in schools serves no purpose?

Fun Fact:
Ed King who wrote the iconic guitar riff to Sweet Home Alabama, was in a band called the Strawberry Alarm Clock in the mid 60s. In the summer of 1967, their song 'Incense and Peppermints' was number one on the charts for about a week.

I believe that the first was the old Fox Theater , Atlanta , Ga.
"Play it pretty for Atlanta"

Love Skynyrd, so talented, one of the best bands ever. I remember where I was when the news broke of the plane crash, great loss to the world.
