For some unknown reason I had a wave of inspiration washed over me, and what did I find; you guessed it, a short story contest.
but what to write about was my quandary. I was hoping for the prize to be one of those newfangled ebikes that seem so popular among the senior citizens in my village. But alas the prizes were applause and being the attentionwhore I am, I can always use a little applause. So I sat there hoping my muse would help me with an interesting theme for the story and guess what, the high strangeness started issuing from the speakers on my laptop...It was the sound of one hand clapping.
