Saturn in the lord of the rings. The keeper of the gate and owner of all in this realm

I'm reminded of the Golden Age in Roman Mythology when Saturn was the primary god and crops were abundant and the people worked together and everyone was happy. Would be nice to return to days of abundance, peace and prosperity for the people.

All this talk of portals when no one knows what a portal really is, how it could be constructed or the physics that would allow it to exist. I say it is merely a bleed-over of Science Fiction wanting to be Science Fact.

The LHC is super complex because it can collide particles on demand, but these same kinds of collisions are happening randomly billions of times per second all around us. If they are as powerful on our scale as so many seem to think, we should be seeing some weird light shows all around us, don't you think?

I don’t know anything about this cern sacrifice story and I don’t see sufficient evidence to buy into any ‘cern satanism’ (or should that be ‘saturnism’?)

However, there is a precedent for Big science projects having occult patronage. The Manhattan project’s Jack Parsons (whom I’m sure many here are familiar with), is described by Wiki as a ‘ American rocket engineer, chemist, and Thelemite occultist’. I’ll be that’s a CV that opens all kinds of portals.

So, with the absence of any convincing evidence of occultism at cern it would be unfairly spurious to accuse these inspirational scientists of such a heinous crime as human sacrifice. But it would be naive to say that science and the occult never tango and so it’s perhaps wise to keep minds mind an open portal.

The LHC may one day be seen as either the best, or worst idea humans ever ever had. It’s very exciting!
