Did they arrest the blogger committing treason, or kill him in another country for saying something unapproved, like russia has repeatedly done.

A bit. I believe in Russia they are prosecuted in court. In Ukraine, they just disappear after being taken away.

For those that are in groups like the Tornado Battalion they imprison and then release them on the public armed to the teeth.

Not saying he did or he didn't. But if he did, and it could be proven, that would also be disturbing in and of its own. If it could be proven, of course.

But since we've suddenly wandered off the topic at hand to be speculating on hypotheticals, I ask you, how difficult would it be for a western nation to poison someone with ties to Putin's opposition, to make it look as though it were a hit ordered by Putin and his cronies, so as to frame Putin and the Russian government?

How difficult would that be?

How soon were there western media reports that attributed those poisonings to Putin? That were so matter-of-fact certain that Putin was responsible, and precisely as I've described above?

Shariy was arrested by Spanish law enforcement on Wednesday after Ukraine issued an intentional arrest warrant. Depending on their treaties, Spanish law enforcement may have been required to make the arrest due to the international arrest warrant.

Shariy was then brought before a Spanish judge yesterday. The judge ordered Shariy be released from police custody under the conditions that he forfeit his passport and regularly check in with authorities.

These conditions will remain in place for the next 40 days or until Ukraine files a request for extradition. At that time, a judge will determine whether Ukraine has enough of a case to warrant Shariy being sent back to his home country.

Nobody else is known to have the bio weapons used in the killings, nobody else wanted them killed, and russia was bragging about how well it could reach out and kill traitors (including these specific ones) anywhere they hide until the backlash over a few of their most recent killings inside western countries when russia suddenly said 'what? Considering the two men that orchestrated the Novichok attack were identified as FSB agents and Russia refuses to extradite them, I'd say there's a pretty good chance they weren't agents of the West.

Applying for a “legal arrest warrant” against those that defy and oppose you politically isn’t exactly democratic.

Just because someone wasn’t poisoned because of their stance against any country doesn’t give me “feelz” about squashing dissidents and stomping on their right to speak out.
