As spring does it's thing, half of the globe is repleneshing:
Birds, chirps, sprouting leaves in the wind,
the smell of spring, tingling,
even for some, sneeze set's in.
The beloved sun, gifting us with warm rays,
bringing light to what was a dark place.
The harsh cold wind softens, carrying pollen for seeds,
as it's what nature needs.
Animals and humans the same,
pour out of their dwellings to participate in the game.
The game that is life as our senses begin to thrive.
It is this time when many hearts open up,
to seek their fitting counter part,
less a game, more an art.
As the days grow longer, I can not help to wonder:
Is it the eyes or the heart, the light or the dark,
that keeps us apart?
