Oh my god, you just brought tears to my eyes, and have my deepest and most sincere sympathies.

I am probably one of a small number who has a good idea of how you are feeling. December 30th was the 7th anniversary of the passing of my own newborn son, also a twin to our beautiful daughter. He had a heart defect, we had the surgery performed, but he was about a month premature, and his lungs just couldn't handle the strain. He survived for 10 days - the longest 10 days of my life.
