He didn't want to be seen as provoking russia into an invasion that russia was planning anyway.

Translation: he's a coward with a spine made of jello whose brain has been replaced by pudding, AKA - a democrat.



5000 Javelins, 5000 Stingers, and a few older Patriot batteries would have stopped russia's invasion forces at the border if delivered before 2/24.

You can start a battle of semantics, but there are enough battles going on already.

This did not start on Feb 24, 2022. It started in Feb of 2021 when Ukraine shut down the opposition party television stations effectively silencing their political opponents, a no no in democratic nations. They did this at the urging of the US consulate in Ukraine. They followed that by seizing the assets of viktor medvedchuk, leader of the opposition party, voice of Russian interests in Ukraine, and long time friend of Putin. Among those assets were a pipeline that carried Russian oil to Europe. That effectively sanctioned Russian oil. Within 48 hours of the asset seizure Russia began massing troops on the Ukraine border. Russia waited a full year before actually crossing the border. That gave the US a full year to employ diplomatic efforts to solve this issue but since they started it the diplomacy never materialized.

I do not condone the violence taking place in any way shape for form. But I also do not blame Russia solely for this event. The US and Ukraine played roles in creating this mess too. Ukraine acted at US urging and when Russia clapped back the US stood aside and let Ukraine take it full in the face. Thank you biden.

The invasion commenced a few days later, on February 24th.

Military Experts and Congressmen are now asking, "If Biden knew, why didn't he ship a few billion dollars of weapons to Ukraine at that time? Why is he rushing to play catch-up now? Thousands of lives have been lost due to his lack of leadership!"

Clearly you don't like him which is fine by me. As much as I didn't think Trump was a good choice over his 4 years I think Biden has been worse over his first 2.

In this thread you make the claim that this shouldn't be called the Russian Ukraine war so I posted the definition of war and asked what conditions listed aren't being met.

It should be easy for you to back up your opinion simply by answering that question.

Like I said, my issue has never been in those that call out Biden.

My issue is how the OP starts multiple fantasy or opinion threads as if they were facts, honest or accurate every day and how some people here seem to just blindly approve.

A HARD TO FATHOM REALITY and QUESTION

This whole UKRAINE "conflict", "war", whatever you want to call it, is weird. Take a look at this video clip from 2 days ago.


The Ukraine military says Russian President Vladimir Putin has attempted to have President Zelenskyy assassinated several times this year.

Why is Zelenskyy apparently not worried about his own personal safety, nor the personal safety of visiting dignitaries?

As the video demonstrates, two days ago, Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell and his delegation met and walked around in the open, in the middle of a country under constant attack from Russia.

Last week, it was Nancy Pelosi and her delegation meeting Zelenskyy out in the open and getting a tour of the town.

Last month, it was U.K. President Boris Johnson getting the VIP Treatment.

REALISTICALLY, killing Zelenskyy is so easy, blind musician Stevie Wonder could guide a cruise missile the Ukraine President when he's greeting high-level VIP's in the open and giving them tours. Vladimir Putin's missile could take out Several high-value targets in the blink of an eye, if Vladimir Putin wanted to.

APPARENTLY and OBVIOUSLY, Vladimir Putin does NOT want to kill Ukraine President Zelensky.

WHY IS THAT?
