However, Orthodox Easter will be on April 24th.

April 17, the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem (or Willow Sunday) is celebrated. In honor of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem shortly before His Crucifixion. Willow branches (which are consecrated the day before) are brought to a church and then kept in a house all year, as a symbol of the blessing of the home.

During the liturgy, two people in white robes are consecrated to the priesthood (one to the rank of bishop, the other to the rank of priest).
