I wont call him a conman. A guy whos drunken the koolaid but used to be a good investigative journalist years ago. Now hes in over his head, with a superficial understanding of things and god awful council. He could be better. And to be honest i think hes not a bad guy. Just needs some fresh stuff free of the crap his circle of friends have fed him. Granted he can break away from a narrative hes invested so heavily in these days.

Dolan, comparatively used to be a somewhat sober ufologist. But I think at one point ufologists kind of run out of material or it gets so redundant. They’re going in circles. Though Dolan has always been a non-spooky ufologist: he doesn’t like the spiritual, or exotic trends in ufology. He’s what I call a typical ET kind of guy. Aliens come from some other planet to the earth, and that's it, no extradimensional, no ghost Keel-like ufo/aliens, and certainly no god-spiritual stuff.

You obviously know very little about him. He is probably the smartest person in UFOlogy, and has certainly spent thousands upon thousands of hours in research and interviews. His books are must-reads if you have an interest in UFO's, and especially without the hocus-pocus and unsubstantiated conjecture entertained by other writers in this subject.

UFO's are a controversial subject and Richard treats it all as professional as it gets. I love listening to him talk. He is eloquent and extremely accurate with what he talks about. To call him a "conman" is totally inaccurate, wrong and very disrespectful of who he is.

Yeah that’s been Dolans usual approach…

But just going off of this interview…it’s looks like Dolan is becoming a bit more open in regards to the Consciousness side of UFO’s…

He just needs better council. Hes been hanging with the wrong folks and its reduced his vantage down to a reduced narrative. Its good if hes branching out a bit, if true. He used to be a fantastic investigative journalist. On a side not he and his wife make a cute pair and he genuinely seems happy these days.
