The profit figures were released as part of the third and final regular update to gross domestic product for the fourth quarter. GDP rose a revised 6.9% in the fourth quarter, down a tick from the prior estimate of 7%.

I feel sorry for the Russian soldiers. At least Ukraine is giving a huge bonus to Russian soldiers who switch sides. I hold nothing against Russia as a nation or it's people, and until recently I did not hold any animosity toward Putin, but his recent (past few years) behavior has changed my attitude to this modern-day Hitler.

No we can’t. That would make our prices of gas and electricity double. If we had any to spare the prices would be going down not up. Any small increase in Europes prices will send their economy in a serious recession. They have multiple countries that aren’t producing any revenue. Have you not seen their banking issues?
Europe is in dire straights. And have been since Italy and Greece went bankrupt.

Europes GDP went- 2.0, 2.0, 1.0, .3% in the 4 Quarters of 2021 and that was before gas prices and energy prices went up. So you are saying a declining GDP being hit with Energy and gas prices soaring isn’t the start of a recession? That’s not even factoring in inflation since 2022 started.

That the Russians couldn’t be losing 15,000 soldiers and be winning, which they obviously are winning the war in Ukraine and that win is being spilled over into Europe causing their economy to fail which will then spread globally making Russia the new super power.

It will spread world wide or did you forget about supply and demand? Recession reduces Europes exports by 50%. Which means we don’t receive but a small amount at higher prices. Thus US starts a recession
