No. I am stating that the current administration is excluding 97% of it's candidates. Obviously Affirmation Action works because she is where she is. Condoleezza Rice was National Security Advisor then SecState. We had a black POTUS. Enough with the no one has a chance.

There are better candidates and to be honest, some are black and female. It is not about that. It is about her agenda. No thanks.

A previous SCOTUS candidate was branded a rapist and we saw days and days of protests including them banging on the door of the confirmation. That was not an insurrection though...right?

No. I just said it must be working. Look up Rebecca Crumpler and what she did before AA. Pretty amazing. Kids should read about her and learn how to be strong and win.

This is ATS, apparently graduating at the top of your class at Harvard, passing the LSAT, then having a full and lauded career, being nominated and approved(by the very same people denigrating her now), only occurred because of AA? Meanwhile, Amy Comey Barrett has no trial history and can't remember the 1st amendment rights and she's qualified? I mean she was questioned about her hobbies and home life, so I guess those are qualifications?

We are talking about this confirmation. There are 100's and 100's of other judges who have busted their asses also, just like I mentioned up there, other black women also, but this is a political appointment. Looks who she worked for. Worked with. Worked under. Her record.

She is agenda driven and focused.

Bottom line. 97% of all eligible applicants cannot be overlooked and if you say it is time, like another poster said, or that she is being denigrated...please show it? When did it became racist to ask a black person a question?

Mate those are standard qualifications .

There are other Black Woman , Hispanic Woman , White Woman etc etc who have the same Qualifications and more much more and yet they were passed over .

Maybe she was not good enough. I guess you never lost a job to someone less qualified but had darker skin or body parts you don't. I have. Had friends who did. Had women who lost out on opportunities because they were not the right color. I have also worked with people who got jobs based on your criteria and in the end hated it. It was not an accomplishment but an appointment. A big difference.

Then again, black people were allowed to vote before women, so, I guess women have been oppressed longer than a black man. Only 100 years of female voting. Isn't history a bitch?

As I mentioned previously, Jackson has served more time on the bench than half the current judges did when they were confirmed, combined.

Considering to your opposition to Jackson, I'm guessing you must have be really opposed to Barrett. I mean she had been a judge for less than three years and didn't even know what the 1st Amendment entailed.
