The law is any type of sexual media/photo/video/text between an adult and a minor, which means under the age of 18. Republicans want to plant this absolutely disgusting and disturbing idea of 50 years olds videotaping their rape of 7 year old, and that it's happening all over the place. It's the lowest of lows, utterly shameful, and super disgusting.

I'm sure sentencing varies between a 20 year old and a 17 year old sexting on Snapchat, compared to 35 year old setting up a hidden camera in the shower room of a girl scouts summer camp and selling the videos online.

There is no child porn law, then there would be a teen porn law....right? It's legally defined as a minor. Child porn is slang, and it's the Republicans boogie man and it's super disgraceful and disgusting they keep bringing it up over and over again.

I don't disagree. She may not either. She states she still has nightmares from a statement of one victim she stated today. She is a mother of daughters herself. You are villifying her for following the procedure and law set forth yet then claim she is a radical. This is why 2 out of 3 cases follow just as she did. It's not corrupt judges, it is the procedure, law and guidelines itself. Go fight for this to change. I mean if you want to just stone people in the street or behead them you'll have to move to a country where that's acceptable. Here you have to fight for a change to the law.

No tattoos it's not him, yet they are spreading that sick photo everywhere. So guess it's not bad to have and promote that kind of thing? Now that is vile and sick. They've already been nominated and approved for their positions. Again she cannot give every person the max sentence. There is the other factors that have to be included before sentencing. You want her to go against them? That is radical.

She was also already nominated to the court of appeals so what on Earth is your point ?

You can't make something that is clearly wrong seem right by giving other examples of said wrongness , Oh just because they did it so can she .

They are not being nominated for the highest court in the land , you need to take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself exactly what your fighting for here .

In response to the OP..My knee jerk was that if she was worth her salt as a judge then she would have declined the nomination due to the diversification process in Justice selection creating partiality across the bench..

Special treatment for people who sexually abuse children is horrible. Supporting those who do the same is just as horrible. Why would anyone support this trash?

I have stated it numerous times. These other judges are following the same procedure as well as it is set out for them. It shouldn't matter what position they are appointed for. This faux outrage for her and not them is suspicious. She is doing what she is supposed to do. Following the procedure and the law. Fight for a change to the law instead of throwing just her under the bus for following it properly.

Judges can do what they want , they in no way have to follow suit to the other psychos around them .
