US militarily occupying another country after an "Invasion"?
no one complains.

Remember when Sen John McCain said US forces should stay in Iraq or Afghanistan for 100 years?
He wasn't lying.

According to a Central Command boss those troops that are currently serving in Iraq will likely stay in Iraq for many years.
What's the point of protesting or voting for different parties when they arent willing to exist from Iraq?

In the article they always use excuses. Either Iran or "ISIS"
U.S . troops will likely be in Iraq for years to come

Some had said here that NATO is a defense pact for "Europe"
They want NATO to have a presence in Iraq.

How is this protecting Europe in the middle east?

“Let me emphasize, whatever we do in the future is something we’ll jointly arrive at with our partners: with the government of Iraq; and again, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO ― very significant, important and growing presence in Iraq, again at the explicit request of the of the Iraqi government,” McKenzie said.

As it says in your link in an advisory and support role, invited by the Iraqi government. Along with many other nations and alliances I might add.

How is supporting Syria protecting Russia?

Terrorism. The world is supporting Iraq to maintain law & order, sovereignty and stability.

invited by the Iraqi government.
Sure let me invite my former invader and occupier that used depleted uranium on innocent civilians which had resulted in birth defects and other medical issues in Iraq.

How is supporting Syria protecting Russia?

Would you had preferred if Syria had fallen to your beloved so called Rebels which were rebels that driving American made toyotas and Ford vehicles?

And being armed by the Obama admin program?

Would you had prefer if Syria had fallen like Libya?

My beloved rebels? I'm not sure where you're getting that from especially since I mentioned terrorism and alliances. It's 2022 and the dynamic has changed several times since western nations tried to intervene via taking down Assad's regime.

Wasn't a mandate then and there isn't one now. You'll be hard-pressed to find me asking for regime change in Syria. In fact I was mentioning cooperation before Russia went in... The world in essence pissed about whilst the whole region exploded.

That's why the world is in Iraq at the invitation of the Iraqi government.
