Everyone heading for the bunkers or what?

Heading?
I've been in mine for the last three weeks.
I had to start taking vitamin D.

Peanuts.
It's a good thing. What sucks is the report that Russians have captured many Javelins.
Now they can copy the only edge we have - technology, along with Chinese.
It's beyond belief that a system so expensive has no tracker and remote auto destruction.
Where is the good ole red scare paranoia when you need it?

Looks like the Biden admin had decided to go all in for a World War.
According to the report.

The provided aid includes.
Source

800 Anti Aircraft Systems (Including longer range)
• 9,000 Anti Armor Systems
• 7,000 Smalls Arms ( Machine Guns, Shotguns, Grenade Launchers)
• 20 Million rounds of Ammo
• Drones

Providing drones would be a small step to further a escalation wider conflict with Russia.

Well lets get this party started, lets see how the oligarchs like it...

BTW I think you are off by a few dollars

The U.S. House of Representatives on March 9, voted to send $14 billion in aid to Ukraine as it battles invading Russian forces. (Reuters)

Considering how poorly Russian tech is functioning in the field it will likely fire straight up and drop on their heads if they try to use one of their knock offs.

I believe that both parties are stupid, do stupid things, are led by stupid people who then get other stupid people to vote for them year after year.

I agree that stupid people keep voting them back into office for decades, so why do people bitch about it...lol

I think they're too emotionally invested at this point to admit they have been duped, it's like watching 1 1/2 hours of a crappy 2 hour movie, they just need to try and finish at this point because they think it might somehow magically get better.

That would be interesting if a Javelin had a self destruct that once activated it needed a continuous SAASM sat link, or it would blow up...

I would love to see a 16 year term limit in Congress, hell even a 20 year... We got people with the ideology of the 70s running our country.

That was funny, I try to keep living life as usual, because you know life is already too short.

They already captured Javelins in some areas according to some sources on SM. But makes you think how many of Ukrainians are willing to fight another orthodox nation?

Well they were able to copy their first nukes thanks to a spy.
Even the opportunity to study the system could tell them how to make it ineffective.
This is criminal. Liberal.

It's sad when politicians can only come together and agree on war instead of peace.

Most Ukrainians really dislike/hate Russia. Didn't Russia like starve them out in the 1920s when they forcibly took them? Need to remember Ukraine was basically more a part of Poland for 500 years before USSR took them over by force. The separatist are like less than 10% of the population so that is 40 million that do not see Russia as friends.

My Ukrainian friends really hate Russia, and one use to be a mig pilot.

The Soviet Union, incompetent and bloated as it was, was still lightyears ahead militarily of where the Russians are now.

I think you're wrong.

Every morning, the president wakes up, drinks coffee and dueces... Then he decides what we spend money on and what the gas prices are country wide.

That's how the vast majority of posters here think it operates, mostly because they don't understand civics and macroeconomics.

Can't imagine any sane person so relentlessly posting putin propaganda 24/7
