so next in line is global food panic and drought

Its worse that Russia had done their own sanctions on fertilisers for Europe.

There are many things wrong in that video.

It looks staged.

It is a huge building, and it is all ablaze. There are big fires external to the building.

I counted one fire engine and four hoses in use. An entire side of the building has no one trying to put out the fire.

Watch it and ask where is the response from emergency services?

The firemen are collecting signs. WTF. The building is ablaze!

So many things wrong.

Planned? Maybe. Looking at Taiwan in particular I am pretty sure that China would prefer a non military solution to the reunification topic. Bringing food and humanitarian aid to a starving Taiwanese population in a food crisis would go a long way to achieve that goal.

The response of the firefighters does seem oddly muted. I counted 4 fire trucks in the video which of course only shows a small part of that huge complex. According to the article:

73 firefighters, 23 firetrucks, four ambulances, and eight fire tanker trucks

Could simply be that they concluded nothing could be safed and to let it burn out rather than risk men and material. Concentrating instead on preventing the fire from spreading further.

How the fire spread so far so fast that nothing much could be done is a different question though. Someone connected a fuel line to the sprinkler system?

Those pics look ominous. From manufactured supply chain fiasco's, inflation, death to fossil fuels, fertilizer shipments, and now they're using the war crisis just to escalate things to the next level. It's a gradual famine crisis coming next, with food rations, Bolshevik style. Well, we been warned about this possibility for years.

I agree. They didn't pay the protection fee. It smacks of an inside job, with accelerants. No way should a building get that overwhelmed with fire, especially in day light. May be in the dead of night a fire might not be noticed till it "got going" but a place like that would have security to immediately inform the fire services to catch the fire early.
That is of coarse assuming the fire service let it get full hold.
