why is it ok for the americans to lay waste to other countries but wrong for the russians ?
people do not want war , they just want to live their lives in peace , it is governments that make war but expect the people to do the fighting whilst they sit back in there comfortable offices or homes far far away from any danger .
What provocation did the Ukrainians make aside from deciding they liked the idea of the West more than the idea of Russia? Did some people do some things in Russia?
Ketsuko it's a little more complicated than that mate .
Ukraine is integral to the Russian energy flow , and the United States was playing Ukraine like a puppet manipulating there energy flow.
Imagine Russia decided to install a puppet Government in Venezuela and control that countries Oil flow , How would the USA react ?
Funny you say that that's exactly what the Russians did in Venezuela and yet no US invasion. Ironic when you disprove your own point huh?

Yes the United States openly did nothing but that does not in turn mean they did nothing , it just means they did nothing the public is aware of .
The States couldn't openly invade Venezuela Congress would never approve , but Putin can do what he wants when he wants.

Not without a heavy price he can't.
In this case, that price is national suicide.
Complete removal from the civilized world.

Agreed but none the less he is the Dictator , so invading a bordering country is just another day for him .
But the States invading a South American Country over Energy rights is a logistical and public relations nightmare.

It's also wrong to do.
So we never even considered doing it.
The logistical claim is 100% incorrect though, it wouldn't even slow is down.
We're a LOT better at it than russia is.

We're a LOT better at it than russia is.
Perhaps you over estimate the Morals of the USA mate .
and yes Logistically invading Venezuela is much more difficult then say invading Mexico would be , Venezuela would require a coastal Amphibious assault landing and mass airborne troops or some sort of a deal struck with a Neighboring country.

Did we invade Venezuela?
Case closed on the morals question.
NEITHER Venezuela or Mexico would provide ANY significant logistics issues for us.
NONE.
ZERO.
THAT is NOT what I said.
We're a LOT better at it than russia is.
Guess you forgot the iraq/afghanistan crusade.
Invasion on made up evidence. Illegal wars.
How many civilians dead?
For oil.

Then you ran away in afghanistan after 20 years, leaving your toys behind for the enemy who took charge literally a few days later. Not very smart.
Better at running?
