And?

Like I said - I appreciate that having the Ukraine become Western friendly made Russia nervous, much like having Cuba be Russia friendly made us nervous. But we did not invade Cuba over it.

In short, I am not excusing the Russians for this. However, I also am very nervous about this global action that is manifesting.

Think long and hard about this. What if we ever decided that revolution in the states was the answer? I'll bet you were sympathetic to the Canadian truckers, as was I, but what if they actually went into a shooting revolution? Where do you think the same powers now acting against Russia would have fallen out, and where does that leave the truckers?

Do you see where I am going and why I worry?

I have said before that I think a determined citizen revolution in the states would stand a decent shot at winning with all our privately owned firearms, but what if the entire world brings its might to bear like it is now?

I'm not necessarily disagreeing.

In reality anyway.

We did not arm Ukraine and had no intention to ever do so.

THAT is a complete russian lie intended to 'justify' this invasion.

If we had, I would also understand russia's feelings on the matter.

Since we did not, I treat russia's fake feelings on the matter as the complete BS that they are.

If the corporations can get away with this in tandem with the Klaus Schwab governments of the West, imagine what they will do to their own citizens in the not too distant future when we stand up like in Australia... and Canada.

It's almost like they admire the dictatorship in China.

FFS! I am not even implying we were going to.

Russians are saying they were nervous merely by the idea of Ukraine being Western friendly. There was no talk of missiles. Supposedly, there are none and never were going to be any. What point would they serve when we have enough to reach Russia from everywhere else?

My point was that the Russians were far more provocative with Cuba, and we showed more restraint. That's it.

why is it ok for the americans to lay waste to other countries but wrong for the russians ?

people do not want war , they just want to live their lives in peace , it is governments that make war but expect the people to do the fighting whilst they sit back in there comfortable offices or homes far far away from any danger .

What provocation did the Ukrainians make aside from deciding they liked the idea of the West more than the idea of Russia? Did some people do some things in Russia?

There was MUCH talk of missles.

By both russia AND russia supporters here.

The fake arming of Ukraine was one of the 3 'justifications' used by russia to start this war.

We did NOT arm Ukraine, and had no intention to ever do so.

Bingo. Countries similar to Russia can NOT choose other paths, especially when they end up doing BETTER than Russia. That possibility was obviously getting under Putin's micro-thin skin.

Cheers

Ketsuko it's a little more complicated than that mate .

Ukraine is integral to the Russian energy flow , and the United States was playing Ukraine like a puppet manipulating there energy flow.

Imagine Russia decided to install a puppet Government in Venezuela and control that countries Oil flow , How would the USA react ?

Russia did EXACTLY that long ago.

Have you seen any evidence of a pending U.S. invasion of venezuela?

Any bombings?

Any troop movements?

Any threats?

Even any interest?

So how about you reach back into that absurd propaganda basket and try something else.

I seriously had no clue that was possible. But now I get why the heavy push by Biden towards electric vehicles for the USA. They could literally stop everyone in their tracks in a heartbeat if they wanted to.

I am convinced more and more that '1984' has pretty much come to almost full fruition. Social media is a disgrace and simply a means of brainwashing and controlling the masses.

I'm going to go listen to some Bob Segar and Billy Joel for awhile to clear my mind.

Once Russia surrenders? you played to many video games.

Is that supposed to be some sort of insult?

Pretty weak.

I don't really play any video games other than Mario Cart with the Grandkids.

Do love me some Mario Cart though!

Yes.

I said russia will surrender.

I knew exactly how crazy it sounded when I first said it almost a week ago, and know exactly how crazy it sounds now.

It IS what I see coming, and have specific reasons for having a high confidence in that assessment.

No country can absorb what russia is facing for long, and russia certainly isn't one of the best positioned to even try.

russia WILL surrender.

The only remaining questions are timing, final death count, and the amount of destruction russia will cause before surrendering.

What happens when Vlad says: “Your country will lift the sanctions against Russia or you will face destruction that you have never encountered in your country’s history.”

Did those 'European youths' just invade Ukraine over propaganda lies that putin himself created and spread through social media?

I suggest reaching back into that propaganda basket, this one was just as dumb as your last 3.

It's not Propaganda mate .

It's called looking at this whole situation through a different Lens .

Don't think like an American and Don't think like a Russian just look at what is happening in Ukraine with neutral objective thought , Can you do that ?

Russia did EXACTLY that long ago. Have you seen any evidence of a pending U.S. invasion of venezuela?

There is in fact classified operations in the Military , Just because you don't hear about it on CNN does not mean it didn't happen
. What you see and hear on the News is exactly what they want you to see and hear its called as you put it "Propaganda "

Think about it mate , The CIA , NSA , NRO and DIA what is it exactly that you think they do ? There are two types of War , White wars these the public knows about and Black Wars these are classified and technically never happened. The United States absolutely was interested in Venezuela and still is .

Funny you say that that's exactly what the Russians did in Venezuela and yet no US invasion. Ironic when you disprove your own point huh?

They didn't necessarily need to. Venezuela was part of OPEC. That was control enough. OPEC killed the Venezuelan economy because the only thing Venezuela had going for it *was* oil and when OPEC tried to undercut US oil production, it killed Venezuela.
