Are PM's still working? Or not?

I haven't received a PM in a really long time, and I was wondering if they're still working? It was like they just stopped all of a sudden, and there were at least a couple I was expecting a few weeks ago and there's been nothing at all, just silence.

It's not a popularity based question at all, just a technical one. If someone wouldn't mind just sending me a quick note to verify there isn't something going on it would be much appreciated.

Nothing has changed with the PM system.
The envelop still does not work.
And PMs don't always seem to get received.

Best advice if you are looking for one is to contact the sender.
I've done it.

Knowing it doesn't light up anymore I check it every few months and mostly get that nobody likes me feeling BUT, a couple of times I got some surprising applause from the staff on threads I wrote that didn't even get past two pages lol. I am lazy about thread upkeep and don't want to be that guy that responds to every post which is annoying. Threads I didn't think were all that impressive, just thoughts on the fly. I was quite surprised and thinking "WOW! Someone out there really does like me". HAH.

Anyway, I'm sure you get those every once in a while. With the amount of threads you start you are bound to get an applause here and there
