Water in Australia heavy rains

Today heavy rains hit Australia . very bad at the moment.

Interesting to say the least for me. Basically in the middle of the rain depression. Been raining for a week. Barely got home this evening and staying put for the duration. Seen and been in a lot of floods. This is the biggest I've seen in this part of the country. Thankfully the rain is easing off tonight. Roof has stopped leaking.

Surrounds nearby are just covered in water. Luckily we are up high. No so for others. Been a few deaths and reports of those unaccounted for. 2 of my children live in Grafton, Clarence River. New South Wales. We were in there today. It appears the river may breach the levee at midnight when high tide hits. About 2.5 hours from now.

A lot of country towns have been hit hard. We'll stay put tonight and scope the area tomorrow.

Can you please address my area: Michigan. Ice dams flooded Monroe and the raisin River for blocks around 3 weeks back.

Just the other day...the ice damn broke...and the levels went form 12' to 8' almost immediately.

Really bad. Much damage. Neighborhoods under FROZEN water....so?

Wales, Australia...wherever....most is expected...though mostly...unexpectededly "surprised" when it happens.

So remember Monroe Michigan...oh...and our 2 dams broke in Mt. Pleasant.

You need to catch up. Please.

Perhaps when the thread isn’t about flood waters in Australia? Dunno.

No sir. We're on the Lake Erie shore...all the rivers flood neighborhoods, roadways...spring n fall..and with ice jams.
Cars, homes underwater.

Bummer. If it’s any consolation the New South Wales premier reckons this is a one in a thousand year flood.

Again. Which really makes it the worst flooding since last year or something.

But I guess a politician gotta hyperbole, especially when no one voted him in or even knows who he is ...
