Not to disparage the video but, the object is vaguely reminiscent of the base of my hummingbird feeder. Well, one feeder specifically, at any rate...

Other than this less than constructive observation, I would like to offer, for feedback's sake, an unusual reflex I've always had in response to simply watching any dynamic depictions of such aerial oddities, regardless of legitimacy. As long as clear memory serves, I have always experienced a certain visceral dread upon first glance of this sort of footage. Even if said footage is blatant amateurish cartoonery, those first seconds of viewing will result in the same dreadful gut-punch of alarm needing sustained repressive wrangling to continue.

More bizarre still, this response is greatly magnified under certain specific conditions: if attempting to watch such material alone and, more so, in the quiet isolation of pre-dawn hours. It is with no small embarrassment that I admit to countless instances of terrified late-night encounters, not with some flittering denizen of deep space, but its poorly animated digital equivalent sputtering in jagged CGI across a computer monitor as I, in knee-jerk horror, frantically pummel the keyboard hoping to clear the screen. As opposed to simply ending the video or even switching off the monitor. Or any other of many rational options available to the mature and sound of mind.

Comical, the imagery, to be sure. I, myself, have laughed many times at recalling these imbecilic nighttime terror tantrums and considered arranging to record them for future entertainment - and helpful incite, of course. But, I do hope that my abnormal, extreme reaction has been properly conveyed. It's actually more difficult than expected, this recounting of embarrassingly childish and uncontrolled behavior. Thought the effort would be much simpler as there is no true depth of interpersonal knowledge in this medium. But, I thought wrong...

In closing, any input whatsoever is certainly welcome. Be it advice, anecdotes, riddles, freeflow musings, low-brow Irish limericks, hateful insults, raging profanity - hell, I'll even accept unprovoked death threats at this point. Any contribution that moves the needle of useful understanding, even if only a single Planck unit, that's still light years from where current theories reside.

So, thanks much in advance and, please, do forgive the ramblings of an aging, sleep-starved mind.

I've witnessed one UFO (without a camera/naked eye) and it was 100% a silver "flying saucer".

To this day, me and the other witness still chuckle... because the classic silver UFO "flying disk" is exactly what it was, as advertised, which is almost comical.

Sounds like a classic example of this:

...

In his book Pseudoscience and the Paranormal, Terence Hines states that “careful investigation has resulted in straightforward natural explanations for even very impressive-sounding UFO reports. . . . All these cases make clear the nearly total unreliability of eyewitness reports. In almost every case, the witnesses’ reports differed substantially from the actual stimulus, but in only a very few cases were the witnesses willfully lying. Their knowledge about what UFOs ‘ought’ to look like influenced their reports, along with the effects of visual illusions.”

In 53 years of existence, I have yet to see any unexplainable airborne object. The intellectual part of mind desperately wishes otherwise and is even a bit envious of the experiences of others. But, some deeper childlike thought source - a part with which, admittedly, I have too little familiarity - would rather die choking on glass-encrusted feces than witness anything remotely related to this phenomenon.

It's been suggested, not without merit, that this fear may actually explain my lack of personal experience. Implying, I suppose, that since I genuinely do NOT want to have such an experience, I simply refuse the possibility, refuse to see what may be in plain sight if only my reluctant will permitted.

Or, perhaps emotions of significant magnitude and/or polarity respectively attract or repulse the phenomenon. I've considered this idea at length and, at least for the moment, wish to continue the emotional repulsion until which time strength of will has reached coping levels. Until then, I must remain content with mere vicarious observation and analysis. A disappointment, absolutely, but fear can truly cripple.
