IMO, Russia will take Ukraine east of Dnipro river. Dnipro river cuts Kiev into two halves, a western half and a eastern half. Putin will likely install former Ukraine president Yanukovch as president of Russia backed East Ukraine which is east of Dnipro river.

Dnipro river is wide and deep. You cannot get from western Ukraine to eastern Ukraine across Dnipro river unless you have serious boats which are vulnerable to shooting form the other side.

As a reminder -

Just so people know and understand. Information from war zones can become confusing as there will no doubt be info released from the players (on both sides) involved that might not necessarily be true.

As such take everything as a possibility and NOT as absolute truth.

The very first casualty in a war is the truth and all warfare is based on deception

So you have stated multiple times in the last 20 pages. I said it before and I will say it again - Either learn about how military's operate or stop making absolute statements, like your river bs.

If it were 200 years ago crossing a river would be problematic. Now days not so much. Ukraine still has an airforce with transports. Last I checked rivers dont impede air traffic, or barge traffic, or bridge layers, or pontoon / float bridges.

Can we move on from the river now?

Speaking of which... China is supposedly going to help Russia in the financial realm to offset sanctions. My question is this -

When China invades Taiwan who is going to come to China and Russia's aid when china gets smacked with sanctions?

Who is gonna come to our aid when we can't get all the cheap Chinese crap we consume every year?

You would think 2020 would've woken us up that we need to get off our dependency on China. People were on board with that concept for about a week and then we got distracted with the media-driven vax vs. anti-vax war.

And so, we have created a new Axis, and soon, will have new Allies to fight them.

Russia re-affirmed alliance with China some time ago:

If the West isolates those two, it's going to force the West to redesign its entire manufacturing sector and supply chain.

Not a problem.

We are prepared.

And can handle some temporary pain.

We are? A lot of manufacturing left during the 1990s-2015s.

I agree here. We're good at pain. Some would say we like it, and that explains our television programming.
