You have it backwards Russia has a more advanced navy doule the number of tanks more artillary more rockets. More advanced aircraft.

Chinese has better military equipment. Type 99A2 tanks, Type 055 destroyers, J-20 fighter jets, HJ-12 anti tank missiles, WZ-10 attack helicopters, Wing Loong 2 attack drones, KJ-2000 AWACs, Y-20 transport planes, better subs too.

Yeah I saw that, that's from a few days ago.

Was your point that Europe was willing to do that to get tough on Russia? If so, it hardly was, since that wasn't an active pipeline yet. They're still buying a #-ton through the existing pipelines and carefully avoiding putting any sanctions on any of it.

If countries are willing to do business with Russia through China in defiance of US sanctions. A few may be willing, like North Korea, Iran, maybe India and a few others. But again, will it be enough to offset European sales, and do they have the infrastructure to transport it all that used to go to Europe via pipeline? That's a ton of extra trucks, barges, barrels, cylinders, etc that they can't just pull out of thin air. It would take time to recover from.

But again, all a moot point until Europe actually wants to act.

Russians targeted it with a missile and now it’s a grave environmental disaster and evacuation is needed.

A miracle that nothing happened yet in Chernobyl. They managed to hit buildings, few ships from other countries, even their own plane carrier, but luckily nothing touched the forsaken nuclear waste site.

I heard earlier that radiation levels in the exclusion zone had increased, probably due to the contaminated ground being disturbed by all the heavy equipment moving through the area. They didn't really clarify how much the increase was or if it was dangerous. The media tends to be real fearmongery about anything involving radiation. After the Fukishima disaster in Japan, they were making a huge deal about radiation levels in some parts of the western US being "elevated." Of course they always failed to mention it was still well below dangerous levels.

Kharkiv is Ukraine's second biggest city. Mariupol is Ukraine's second biggest port city. Both are under tremendous pressure.
