What will become of the Russian protestors and could this lead to more anti putin protests in the future?

Japanese-owned cargo ship hit by missile off Ukraine

A cargo ship owned by a Japanese firm was hit by a missile off the coast of Ukraine in the Black Sea on Friday, injuring one crew member, the marine transportation firm in western Japan said Saturday.

The Panamanian-registered cargo ship Namura Queen was damaged and one of the 20 Filipino crew sustained a nonlife threatening injury to his shoulder, according to the firm based in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture.

The ship can operate under its own steam and has headed to Turkey, where the damage to the vessel will be assessed, the firm said.

Ukraine authorities said the missile was fired by Russian forces, following their military invasion of Ukraine earlier this week.

A total of three nonmilitary vessels have now been hit since the start of the invasion.

He realizes that soon everyone, including him, will be starving and waiting in bread and borscht lines...unless it ends.

I assumed the ruling class would not be as affected as the peasants. Hell during the times of the USSR the ruling class got food. If they arent as protected then Putin has done way more damage than I thought.

Well being they protested / criticized Putin during a time of war... and depending on what happens to them will play a role in any future protests. I was surprised to see the numbers and the type of people protesting. Celebrities, prominent members of the media...

If you all see footage of supposed "Russian tanks" being destroyed by Molotov cocktails. It is old footage from Kyiv protests in 2014 and police vehicles being pelted with Molotovs.

Ukraine has some better tools now.

Unmistakable when you see it.

Unfortunately, incidents like this are likely to increase in the coming days.

I'm sure Europeans are doing everything they can, short of military action, to keep them to a minimum.

Some categories are 100% ANCIENT russian gear.

A few important categories are somewhat newer and 0% russian,

NONE of it is anywhere even close to being even within sight of our latest stuff.

Absolutely amazing how much Ukraine has done with so little.

Japan is arch enemy of China. China will never allow Japan to take Kuril islands from Russia. Chinese military there is quite powerful armed with J-20 fighter jets and Type 055 destroyers.

Edit. Also, Germany never claims Kaliningrad as German territory. They also signed a treaty which does not allow them to claim former West Prussia and East Prussia.

Dream on.

We just armed Japan.

And never had any reason to fear your tin can navy.

A residential skyscraper in Kyiv was hit by a cruise missile. Multiple reports and confirmation from the mayor. No reports on injuries or casualties.
