Peter Cornett, original drummer for the Eugene, OR based band Floater, sadly passed away this last November.
I just found out, feeling like a lousy fan.
Floater has been one of my top 10 bands since I received a demo of their first album back in '93.
Super talented 3 piece band, on the heavier side but they play sweet melodies like nobody's business.
They've released 9 studio albums, plus a few live compilations. I recommend giving them a listen - some talented dudes who unfortunately never made it as big as they should.

So many songs to choose from to share, but I'll leave it to you to explore and provide a couple:
