Over his morning coffee, MaskedAvatar read the cry for help and responded accordingly, but not without a mirthful grin.

"Grasshopper, it has often been said by even the wisest that all things have a beginning and an end. This is true in most of our universe, but not so on the gaseous floating world called ATS Collaborative Fiction. In that topsy turvy world, things finish without starting, and things start without finishing, and sometimes you see middles floating around without a beginning or an end."

EvilLink was not so evil. He went away and plotted many stories, some with conspiracy elements. He assembled teams of writers and gave them characters to act out, and gave them general principles for the stories so that they could play their parts well, for the enjoyment of the rarified gaseous audience of the planet ATS Collaborative Fiction. None of that, however, amounted to much until he read all the guidelines established by the rulers of the planet, and U2U'd the Grand Gas Bubble himself, johnbull1.

MaskedAvatar's coffee tasted like tea. Inwardly he cursed the coffee providers for untimely inventory management, but sipped away, leaving another Collaborative Fiction effort incomplete.
