Gas prices just increased again. Think your prices are high

Todays price of a gallon of gas here now is at $6.50 or 170 yen per liter . And this is even lower then prices in the major cities. This price is for regular gas. High oct gas is much higher.

Also kerosene for heating the house is at a buck a liter or 1800 yen for 18 liters.

Just can't win these days even with a small 5.6% increase in Social Security.

Canadian price or European price?

Raising the price of fuel sharply increases the cost of everything else through compounding. If it costs more to deliver goods, the company delivering has to charge more than the increase to make it pay, ten percent can cover most things, remember that increasing costs of the product also increases insurance costs, which are based on gross sales. It also increases the cost of mess ups all through the delivery chain which also raises the cost of the product to the consumer.

I’m in northern Ontario.
When I was driving out of town this morning at 4 am, my local stations were slanting for $1.57.
Not sure what they jacked the price up to after that though. But it’s disgusting.

I never fill up in town.
I go the the Indian reservation and pay $1.10 a litre.
Price fluctuates depending on what the local gas price is.

$1.18US/L where I am in Ontario. That's per liter.

That reminds me I've got to pry the wife's Yaris out of the treads of my Escalade to run to town tomorrow

It says Aus. For a minute I wasn't sure if it stood for Austria or Australia until I did a google search. Said Aus is for Australia. Aut is for Austria. Hard to read white on yellow, but makes for a prettier picture. Like your avatar.

$2.60 per litre for 91 in Aotearoa not sure how to convert it to USA dollar. But they say will go up to 3$ by the end of the year. More expensive for 96 grade petrol. Tamaki Makaurau pays more than the rest of the country because extra fuel tax. The council has a 285 million dollar surplus that is half of the fuel tax we have paid. I think they should spend it by buying us all electric cars.

I'm in Minnesota just outside the Twin Cities.

It's been 3.55 for ages but last week it jumped up to just shy of 4 bucks a gallon.
Cause of the cold I use the higher octane variety, but paying 4.15 for 89 grade had me in tears! Only need 10gal to top off, but some serious sticker shock.

Last memorable gas pump fiasco was gassing up the camper near Canadian Cottage country and paid 1.82 a liter back in the 90's. Just needed some gas, not putting a downpayment on the service station!

We're getting close. Up to $5.21a gallon here in the Chicago area.

Joe Biden is the worst president ever. He bragged the other day, saying the price would be 2 cents a gallon higher if he had not released the strategic petroleum reserves.
