Sure they probably should be doing so. There's a whole lot of things people should be doing when using apps like Tinder. My eldest knows of someone who was cannibalized by a Grndr date.
As we say with younger kids I think still applies to those in their late teens early 20s, they may not think properly or think nothing bad will ever happen to them.
I don't know if checking ID'S is usually the norm in dating these days. Maybe it should be.

Defense attorneys always portray the suspect as a pillar of the community and the victim as the devil incarnate. That is a given.

I'm not a lawyer. They have access to wayyy more information than I do. I asked a question. How was the person to know. It's a horrible situation.
By asking for ID.

That wouldnt work either when i was 17 I had ID that said I was 21 getting a fake ID is easy when you have access to a computer i used my lerners permit and it even had the state seal at the time. If someone is passing themselves off as being older it be hard to detect. We dot kow how far she went but if she was drivig around and had an apartment to ring him back to it be difficult to know. The judge looked at her and thought that it was plausible the guy was played I believe the judge was female as well

If she's underage that's probably for the best all the same.
If a Man of 20 cannot identify that his date is only 12 years-old via eyesight and simple conversation you have to wonder why?
Wear light makeup. wear makeup, which can add years to your face. Use eyeliner to outline your eyes. Wear neutral colors, like golds and browns. Don't wear bright or pastel colors. Add some foundation to smooth out your skin.
Conceal the circles under your eyes with concealer.[10]
Avoid teenage products like thick, sparkling lip gloss or baby-pink nail polish.

I am in total shock by this case and can not in any way understand what the hell the Judge was even thinking
Now he's not sequestered from father's vengeance.

Ive got two kids myself dragonridr, my boys 9 and my girl 15, and i can tell there age.
I take your point as to the makeup making girls look older.
Bit more to it than just the way they look all the same.
Most normal 20 year old men should be able to tell the difference between an 18 year old woman and a 12 year old girl.
Simple as that really, else serious questions need to be answered.
