The Little Bighorn survivors' reunion of 1926.

I'd like to share some historical US film footage.

It claims to show a reunion (about fifty years after the iconic Battle of Little Bighorn), in 1926.

Never-mind the historical relevance, but one also tends to think there were no old people until the post-World War Two years.

And yet here were men well into their seventies and eighties - yip, survivors of the original battle.

And they finally shook hands.

Wow, and apparently 50 000 people attended that event (although I assume it ran over days?).

And I thought mass gatherings began with pop concerts.
