Such a rich musical history that I didn't know about till recently. Funny name though.

Yes. Heck yes. Watch this amazing documentary. It's about more than amazing music, it's about life. The struggles. The heights. And finding your way from one to the other against all odds. The cast of characters will amaze you and what they have to say about creativity is profound.

I worked with Rick Hall before his death as well as those still living, Spooner, David, etc Muscle Shoals Horns et al. I am humbled & honored and I've worked in the entertainment industry over 20-yrs and I'm no starry-eyed fanboy. Usually. But every so often...and this is one of those cases.

I still get over there a lot. One of the most amazing parts of this story is that it shows that MANY of us in the south aren't racist. Go figure.
