Been a clutch fan for a bazillion years... well, maybe 20... close enough.
Man they evolved. I can't get me enough of this hoohaw!!
Since I'm in FB jail, can't spread the joy there, haha, so have at you !!
(If I've posted this before, I blame the medicines the quacks have me on for my early grave, you tend to forget a lot when meds for terminal things
are involved..)
I actually went to middle school with 3/4 of those guys and high school with all of them. Not only that I quite literally helped JP get his first
drumkit at Victor Litz music in Gaithersburg MD. Back then you would NEVER imagine that they would be friends and have a band that is one of the most
successful in it's genre. In fact, I never knew Neil could sing til I heard they had a record deal. He was always just a R.O.T.C. guy to me. Tim and
I had music theory classes together and a guitar class.
We must've had something in the water at Seneca Valley High School. Half of Hootie and the Blowfish also went to school with us (Mark and Dean). Sadly
Clutch no where compares to Hootie in album sales (their bet debut week for a new album only sold 18K) but then again no one really makes anymore or
sells records anymore. The bands net worth is only 2M (as a company) which honestly isn't too great but it shows that they have a SOLID career making
money from merch and touring over the past 17 years. a reply to: jerich0
