Prince Andrew's military titles revoked

For anyone who isn't aware, Prince Andrew has been facing accusations of sexually abusing Virginia Giuffre on multiple occasions while she was a minor. Virginia Giuffre was one of the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Jeffrey Epstein, arrested for sex trafficking, allegedly committed suicide in prison. Ghislaine Maxwell was also arrested and subsequently found guilty of 5 charges relating to sex trafficking. Virginia Giuffre has claimed that she was lent out by Epstein and Maxwell to Prince Andrew as a minor, so that Prince Andrew could sexually assault her on multiple occasions.
Now Prince Andrew's military titles have been revoked.

I wonder if Ghislaine is starting to divulge information for some upgraded living conditions behind bars.

The UK’s Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince Andrew’s “military affiliations and Royal patronages” were returned to the queen as he faces a sex abuse civil lawsuit in the US linked to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

He doesn't have the balls for that , he'll continue to lie low for as long as he can get away with it , it's known that he was the Queen's favourite so in that sense he's bullet proof.

This is the proverbial giving the dog a bone to hopefully satiate the gullible brits among others. Window dressing, next they will say the Queen gave him a good spanking. Of course, Andy might have enjoyed that...tell me again how much this theater costs the British a year.

Lizzie isn't going to be around much longer. The real question is, does Charles have the balls for it?

Given how his ex-wife died under questionable circumstances, I wouldn't give Andrew an insurance policy right now.

AND his HRH title! Flippin; heck!
My understanding is, that even though HRH is almost automatic for those qualifying in the Royal Ranking, a person cannot just 'give it up', it has to be done by the Queen herself via a Letters Patent. So basically the Queen herself has withdrawn his HRH, not Andrew giving it up and everything else that comes with it like PP. That's some 'middle finger' Lizzy has just done!

Thing is nothing is going to happen to Andy , this is a civil case so he will have to pay some cash out of his big pot of cash if the plaintiff wins her case ... that's it.

The public humiliation is a bigger thing than the court case here and loosing his military titles and royal patronages is quite significant , they may say it's so he can concentrate on the case but I don't see him getting them back.

As for Charles , he'll stick by his brother.

Sounds like more money has been spent on investigating and covering this than Randy Andy is going to have to give up. ie Im pretty sure he isn't going to be sweating it at all, wink wink

Everybody has suspected this for years, wasn't he wrapped up in some other stuff, like the Jimmy Savile stuff.

I can't believe a royal would even have a care about this. I think that's the most interesting aspect of this whole sordid affair. Why does the queen, as old as she is, even have a care?

Thanks for the perspective!

I agree that something like this isn't a token slap... it's a very harsh censure in ways that people who aren't part of that sphere might not understand. There'll be a loss of a lot of things along with those titles.

I'll be the first to say it.... Prince Andrew did not kill himself...

Interesting. He seemed like a decent guy. Pretty good pilot. He visited with the US Navy Sea King squadrons in the early 80's after the Falklands War. I flew with him twice. Well you never know.
