From July 2009 to April 2012 the were no missile tests. Obama must be twice the negotiator that Trump is if he can have them halt testing for 3 years.

Face it, Trump was nothing special when it came to North Korea. They played the same game they always play. They act out, the West offers them aid in exchange for them halting their missile program, then they ramp up their missile program again when the aid runs out.

That pause was following 3 failed launches in 3 years. From what I have read they took a huge step back and had to try to find the solution to the failures. This is why it failed again when it started back up in 2012. First failed and second later in the year put a satellite in orbit.

I have to disagree on NK and 45. I think they were very close and there were those in the 45 administration who did not want it. Again, what i have read in a few books.

The Progressive US government cannot have peace or there is no war. Look at the Middle East. Same thing.

Not at all.

More likely someone/something goofed and now they're trying to cover their own asses.

Stopping departures on the west coast for 15 minutes didn't really do anything to clear the airspace on the west coast or anywhere else really.

Something else must have caused the stop.

And, I agree with you, the FAA is likely covering up the real reason which was probably some kind of a mistake.

That was my first reaction as well, stopping departures doesn't clear the thousands of flights already in the air.

I'm with ya'll on the FAA screwed up.
